Adding on to the list of 'first-times'...
1. Being away from home for the longest time
2. Flying alone
3. Staying at a hotel by my own
4. Working in a Japanese firm
5. Trying beef bowl in Japan. it's far better than yoshinoya.
6. Experiencing spring! though it's approaching summer soon. temp. is about 18degreescelcius im underdressed!
looking forward to more first-times..
- taking an overnite bus to kochi where my cousin is. for a weekend perhaps.
- climbing to the top of mt fuji :)

I had a really nice family dinner just last nite. though it was a simple one, and we talked over dinner.. i really enjoyed the family time. as usual, they were giving motivational talks to my sis.. with my brother sharing his experiences.. and my dad's always so funny. that nite, my mom passed me japanese yen, and kept telling me not to spend so much and required me to show her an expenditure report so she'll deduct from my allowance and so on.. then aft she finished talking to me, my daddy passed me a stack of sing dollars, asking me to bring it to japan. i went, "so much?" then he just said "take it, don't tell mummy." having said that, it's not about the money. it's just knowing how much they care, makes me feel like crying especially when I recall how I complained about them before. and you know, my mom actu bought the SQ tix though JAL was cheaper, just cause i said i've nvr tried A380 before. earlier in the day, my dad sent an email to the travel agent, which was CC-ed to me. "Dear XX,Plse include the travel insurance for my princess." he just settled everything for me so i needn't have to worry. what more could I ask for? I really don't wanna let them down so I'll promise to make the best out of this stint and learn as much as I can. :)
being alone here makes me miss home even more.. :( i wonder how's my mom. today's my parents' 25th anniversary! but my mom had to spend a whole day a ttsh for a second check up for breast cancer, coz she was called back after the mammogram. i hope and pray it's not her.
A380. was awesome! haha. the entertainment system's quite good. movies could be played from the start, fastforwarded, rewinded and so on. they have qwerty keys and usb ports for you to plug in your portable devices so you could work on your documents or view photos or even watch movies from your hard disk though thats pretty lame coz they had a wide selection of movies to choose from. I watched Marley and Me, and Avatar! I also met a cute japanese girl and her mom coz they were sitting next to me.
checked-in, watched japanese channels and napped in the afternoon, before going out to explore the streets outside ard dusk.. the vicinity has quite a number of small eateries, 2 supermarkets, drugstores, convenience stores, bakeries, some arcade place, and kfc and macs too. haha. not too bad! i bought back lots of snacks! weather wise, by day quite cooling actually, and by nite it can be pretty cold outside.. wore a sweater alr but still cold i think im getting a flu now :( okies. that's all bout it for today.. tmr's my first day of work. ganbarimasu!!

glad to noe u r happy n safe in jap, haha, n u have more excuses to buy clothes now, cos of e cold weather.. haha. is it a good location? as in, downtown area n convenient n near to yr workplace, n well lited at night too?
n i forgot all my jap liao.. only noe "early blah (old man?), early blah, good night" =(
